From a young age, I have always had a passion for creativity and crafting. My favorite classes were Art and Home EC where I discovered the joy and reward of transforming materials into tangible creations.

My passion continued to grow as I designed and handmade Halloween costumes and later, for my children, who were known for having the most unique costumes in town.  As my creative focus shifted, I began to channel this passion into making meaningful, personalized gifts for family and friends. This journey of crafting and creating is at the heart of everything I do.

As a former teacher, daycare provider, and mother of two, I developed a strong awareness—one might say a hyperawareness—of how easily germs can spread in everyday environments.

For years, I personally struggled with the dilemma of how to open those thin plastic produce bags at the grocery store. The thought of licking my fingers to get a grip, especially after touching public surfaces like door handles and grocery carts that countless other people had touched, was a persistent concern.
